This is definitely a good one to remember. I think my first bot was the one that extracted data from excel. I remember encountering countless rookie errors but when it successfully executed, I got super happy. XD

Sure, I’d love to do that. Let’s connect on PM!

There are actually a multitude of technologies used in that level of application.
The textbox would fall short of words if I had to mention them in detail.Instead, I would recommend you read this article –
Hope it helps!

RPaaS has already come to life in 2021. Other services like cloud computing, web services, and the integration of deep tech gave an edge to RPA.
More than ever, we have the convergence of different technologies like RPA, AI & ML. This gives an unparalleled advantage to businesses that can get the adoption right. In my opinion, RPAaaS can massively increase the rate of tech adoption in SMEs.

There are a number of factors to consider.
However, the two most important questions to ask according to me are –1. Expected Exceptions- What is the degree of variation in the process? If there is too much variation then creating automation would not do much good as there would be a ton of exceptions to deal with.
2. Complexity – How complicated is the process? A simple process can be automated easily within a week’s time. However, extremely complex ones take months. We need to think about whether it’s feasible to automate the process.
There is a fad of automating almost anything recently. But we also shouldn’t forget that automating isn’t free. If the cost of automation & maintenance exceeds the cost of doing it as it is, then one should stick with the regular in my opinion. Would love to hear your thoughts, too.

Wow, there is a list of tasks I can think of!
However, most of all I would like to automate my sleep schedule as @jay suggested. Would finally be able to sleep on time then!

Thanks for sharing this dude! I just mentioned the same in another discussion on the forum.
I think the line between sci-fi and reality is getting blurry. I can see another side to this though.
Currently, we secure our networks using anti-virus to protect our systems from hackers. And time and again, hackers have seemed to found a way to bypass our securities.
The real question now is, what if they are able to hack what is implanted in our brain?
What is the level of damage which can be done and how do we prevent it?

Hello Kirti,
I feel the question you asked deserves a long answer.
I would recommend reading the following article for more clarity – https://www.freelancermap.com/blog/what-does-rpa-developer-do/Hope this helps!

I do agree with what Sakshi mentioned but I think there is a lot more to it.
The main difference between traditional automation and RPA is that it can be used at a User Interface level.
Because of this, there is immense potential with RPA.For Example, in a Hospital entire processes like admission of patients in a hospital, allotting beds to them, assigning doctors based on their availability can be automated using RPA.
It literally saves lives.

Glad that you’re here! This place was a little inactive for a few months but it’s good to see fellow learners gathering here for discussions.
And Yes, it does have a lot of applications. But where do we draw the line? I see “I, Robot” coming true in the future -

I think the movie “Transcendence” portrays what can be the future. Collective consciousness is something we all have watched in movies. But, looking at the way chimps are now being implanted with chips that teach them how to play ping-pong, it seems to be coming true!
Maybe in a decade, we’d be discussing the same thing on this forum by just thinking about it XD
