Hello for exercise #1 — please provide some clarity of where to find the “regex activity” in the toolbox. A search for “regex” returns nothing.

However, there is no ‘right-click’ on the variables to ‘convert to argument’. Where is that?

You don’t have to convert the variable to an argument. You can directly pass the variable to any other workflow.
